Administrative Assistant

Our rapidly growing telecommunications company is looking for an administrative assistant to maintain account records and oversee smooth transactions with clients. The successful candidate will have great communication skills and a strong quantitative background, along with a proven track record of successfully handling accounts. The ideal candidate should be a team player, enjoy working with a variety of clients, and have a knowledge of basic accounting functions. We also value those who are ready to learn and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of business costs
  • Check invoices for inaccuracies
  • Support office staff and field technicians
  • Handle general account queries
  • Contact clients about invoices that are past due
  • Answer phones
  • Collate and distribute mail
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
  • Great analytical skills
  • Eye for detail
